I think a lot of those "health news" is crap, or self-contradictory at best. One day they are saying a cup of milk is not enough, and then another day they declare most than one serving will increase the chances of ovarian cancer. So on and so forth. Plus, they are always stating the obvious facts, like "an apple a day can *really* keep the doctor away", or "kids will be happier if they have someone they can talk to"! Jeez...

I think "moderate" is the keyword to a healthy lifestyle.

Personally, ever since reading the book Fast Food Nation, which describes slaughterhouses and the meat processing industry in gruesome details, I have been revolted by meat. Everytime I see meat I will imagine the guts and blood and all my appetite is gone! :-)
